'Constellation'
Nuno is the name for a felting with fabric technique. This double sided scarf is a combination of black silk chiffon with a natural grey merino wool decoration.
The constellations of spots are circles of felt. Some are natural grey, some have been blended with black and the white spots also have silk fibres felted in. It's the addition of silk which makes the white lustrous.
Each end of the scarf is decorated with five loops of wool. It would look equally at home as day or evening wear.
