'Russett'
This brooch was inspired by fabric of the 1960s and is made with hand rolled felt which I make myself from 100% Merino wool.
The outline colour is burnt orange and the main colour is a dark brown, they're very autumnal colours. I've then hand stitched each petal with orange embroidery thread and decorated the centre with glass seed beads in tones of amber. On the back is a locking brooch bar to keep it secure on a coat, hat, scarf or bag.
