There’s still one place left on the low relief workshop on Saturday 23rd October. For anyone who doesn’t know what low relief is I thought a few examples would help. Most of us have been in bathrooms where you can feel the raised pattern on the tile and this is what I mean by low relief.
The example above is in felt but looks very like you’d expect a raised tile to be. There are a few ways of bringing low relief to work including embedding items in the felt, attaching them to the surface and cutting back to give depth.
Low relief gives added interest to your felt and the workshop will cover the different methods of achieving it.
