My little wooden heart

At Christmas I saw this beautiful heart made from twigs and decorated with beads which I so wanted but it was too large for the space I have available. So I thought I’d have a go at making one. It’s not as easy as I’d hoped it would be and I couldn’t find a good instruction / video on the net for the type of heart I wanted to make so I made it up as I went along. The shape of heart is what I wanted but it looks rather more regular than I had hoped for. It’s not finished yet as I need to decorate it and I have a few ideas on that too so watch this space.

New things continue to mount no.8 is the heart above, never done this before. no.9 – made nutty yoghurt bread. It was better than the last lot of bread but nothing to shout about and I may have killed a bird or two by putting the remains out for them. I doubt very much if they could fly after eating my bread!

We wen to see The King’s Speech yesterday – brilliant film go and see it if you get a chance, even our thirteen year old enjoyed it.

  1. That heart looks really interesting – please show decorated pictures when finished – I am intrigued!

    You could post a ‘How-To’ coz I love ‘woody/twiggy’ things 🙂

Our chickens are always quite happy to sample our practice cooking left overs!
