Birthday in the house

It’s that time of year again, teenage birthday. Two years ago I attempted to make lots of bunting for my daughter’s 13th birthday and but off more than I could chew. Fortunately for me, some of you lovely people came to my rescue with donations of flags.

Each time we have a celebration I bring out the bunting and think of all the places it came from and the generosity of the people who helped make it. This year the bunting is out for a 15th birthday and the party is on Saturday. We’ve bought a tower of pizza bases and a vat of pop, we hope that’ll be enough for 8 hungry girls. My daughter is currently on crutches so this years party is a slumber party with pizza, pyjamas and rom com DVDs. I can’t wait to see 8 sleeping bags laid in a row at bedtime
