An Easter gift

My Daughter came up with this idea some weeks ago but as it was an Easter gift for her boyfriend this is the earliest opportunity I’ve had to show it to you.  Jack (the boyfriend) says that Charlotte (my Daughter) looks like someone on youtube who, at the end of each clip, says give the alligator wings. That was her inspiration for the gift, an alligator with wings.

So with no pattern to follow Charlotte set to, cut up some of my handmade felt and began creating an alligator. I think she’s done a great job and the double tiny wings are so cute.

See, she’s even created nostrils, teeth and a tongue. So much work went into this and all done with a smile. But wait, Easter wouldn’t be complete without chocolate.

The alligator lays eggs! Yup, the tummy was stuffed to bursting with miniature chocolate eggs. I have it on good authority that he loved the gift.
