From 2D to 3D

This workshop is booked direct with Stitch Fest wool show

You will be making a British Wool felt cover for a glass vase which will be made flat and then fastened around your vase. Connecting items (like the rings and long tails in the picture) can be added during the felting process,  stitched on later or a combination of the two.

There will be a small amount of simple stitching at the end just on the closures, perhaps a running stitch or putting on a button. If you’d like to incorporate an old button from home please bring it with you.

All materials  provided, including the glass vase.

Please bring an old towel and a waterproof bag to take home the wet towel and wet felt, and perhaps also some bubble-wrap to carry your vase home safely.
