Travels from my blog

I’m not getting out and about much at the moment so I thought perhaps I could at least let my fingers do some walking. The wander did me good and the sites I visited were so interesting I thought I’d share them with you.

I began by visiting Abigail’s site Fibres to Felt to find a lovely new layout and that Abigail has been busy making Christmas decorations too (amongst other things). Whilst there I looked down the sidebar to see what sites Abigail is fond of. I clicked on studiofelter by Elizabeth and was delighted to see some really beautiful and very colourful work Elizabeth is doing in schools. As you know, I like colour and so does Elizabeth, definitely a blog I’ll be visiting again.

I haven’t visited for a while so I went off to see what Trudis is up to. Her felt wall hangings are brilliant and I hope that Trudis won’t mind that I’ve shown you one here.

This is Trudis with her favourite wallhanging, a tribute to Hundertwasser. I then took a look at the blogs that Trudis likes and settled on Wooldancer. Great name isn’t it? Interesting work and really really unusual rings. I also took a look at stuiopanka who produces beautifully crafted hats and quite sculptural scarves. I’ve seen her work before on flickr and the colours are amazing.

Rabenfilz was another one which took my eye and I’m so glad I visited. The lights are very atmospheric and I love the stool coverings. Definitely another one to revisit. I think that is enough for today as I really do have lots to do. I wish you all, happy travelling.
